Levitating/ floating objects are pretty much everywhere now. Most of you people own one or probably planning to get one soon. Well, the only issue a lot of people are having is that only floating speakers are available. Well, you might not know, but the levitating objects are not just limited to speakers, but you can also get a couple of other stuff like the Levitating Lamp, etc. And today what we have here is also something very similar. These are the MOXO S1, and apart from the being the levitating speakers, they also double up as a lamp. Yes, it is a nice additional new feature apart from being the mainstream Bluetooth speakers. Well, when you first take a look at the device itself, you have a couple of different parts to go through.
The main speaker unit itself is quite small and is shaped like an egg with a wooden base finish at the bottom. The top is soft and rubbery, and you can see some buttons as well as the USB port for charging. There is also a base which again comes with a wooden finish with obvious magnets on top to balance the unit. You have connected this base with the adapter and supply power in order for it to work. You also need to pair the speaker unit with your phone via Bluetooth. Once it is connected, you will see the lamp light up. You can keep it as a standalone unit which will solve the purpose of playing music as well as being a lamp, but what good is it if you are not making it float.
To make it float, all you need to do is, hold it with both the hands and make it levitate over the base just like you would with any other floating speakers. Well, once it is levitating, you can simply to stop looking at it. It is absolutely beautiful and looks very good for a desk setup. No doubt that the sound quality is not the best here but hey, you are anyway not buying it for that. This is simply good to impress a bunch of people when they come over to your place for a party or can take a good spot on your desk setup. There are other offerings as well which looks even better than this, like the Mars by crazybaby or the one by music angel. But do make note that this is one doubles up as a lamp also while others are just speakers.
