Many times it happens that you download software and after downloading you find that the software is either in .iso format or is the Virtual CD/ DVD drive format which are actually an image of the audio CD drive. Basically, an iso file needs to be burnt on a CD or DVD so that you can use the same for installing that software from the iso file image from the source to your computer. Now, such files may create problems for those who don’t have CD / DVD writing drives as this iso image files can’t be run directly after the download as these files can only be installed when burnt in a CD or DVD as these are the image files.
But if you still want to burn the iso files despite not having the CD/DVD writers, you need to make use of a software called MagicDisc with which you can virtually create a CD or DVD which will write off the need of CD or DVD writers just for the purpose of burning the iso image files. With this software, you can burn up to 15 virtual CD/DVD drives using the MagicDisc. The user interface of this software tool is very simple to use and pretty much very user friendly.
After installing this software tool, you just need to right clicking on the mounted file icon will load a new menu using which you can mount or un mount and image files as a virtual CD / DVD drive. Selecting the virtual drive will show you options to mount or un mount the drive as per your choice.
After clicking on mount you will see that a pop up will be opened and the same will open a file dialog from where you can choose the image file and mount it as a virtual drive and will appear in your Windows Explorer. You can then install the software or copy the files using the mounted drive. Once you have finished use of the mounted drive you can simply click on the Un mount option to un mount the drive which you have selected which is shown in the above screen shot.
This software tool is very small in size but supports almost every iso file formats like BIN, IMA, CIF, IMG/CCD, VC4, BWI/BWT, C2D, PDI, TAO, DAO, C2D, MIDF etc. This Magic Disc software tool supports almost every Windows operating system like XP/2000/Vista.
